A coordinator communicate with Deaf people clearly and keeps the pastor informed of the needs of the Deaf saints and helps Deaf people integrate into the hearing church.

What Do State Coordinators Do?

Keep the pastor informed of issues related to the ministry.
Schedule interpreters according to skill levels.
Provide resources, such as videotapes and/or books to improve skill.
Host workshops, training's, classes and revivals.
Work to promote Deaf Ministry among area churches.
Develop outreach within the Deaf community.
Be willing to do all the above under Pastoral authority.

Benefits of having a State Coordinator

The State Coordinator is to assist the District in being better educated and equipped to reach the Deaf community.
Provide training workshops to state.
Mentor new interpreters.
Schedule interpreters for District events.
Provide guidance and support to all ministers interested in deafness.
Provide PR for Deaf Ministry.
